Model Guide

Nielou is built so that you stay in control of your work, your rate, and your privacy. Here is how it fits together — and what is still being built.

Build your profile

Add a few photos, your city, and the kind of work you want to be booked for. Every photo is gently reviewed for safety before it goes live. Write a line or two about yourself — in your own words.

Your rate is the floorPlanned

Under “Your rate” in your profile you can already set your own day rate today, and it is the floor: no agency can offer you less through Nielou. Nielou's fee is added on top and paid by the agency, so you receive the full amount you set. Booking through Nielou is not switched on yet: today you agree your rate directly with whoever books you.

Open OffersPlanned

You find “Open Offers” in the menu at the top. Verified agencies post real shoots there, and you apply to the ones you like with one click. The agency reviews applicants and chooses; you are never obligated, and you decide what to accept. If nothing is posted right now, check back later.

How you get booked today

Your profile page has a contact form. Agencies and photographers write to you through it without ever seeing your email address, and the message lands in your Nielou inbox. You decide if and when you reply — you owe nobody an answer.

You are private until you choose

Your profile stays private until you switch it public. You decide when, and you can switch back at any time.

If something feels wrong
